We got involved in a campaign to save one of London’s most famous trees called the Happy Man Tree.

We thought the easiest way to get our message across was to get the HMT voted as the Woodland Trust’s Tree of the Year.

And we did it. We won.

Our campaign even got picked up by the BBC.

Sadly, despite all our efforts, the tree was cut down to make way for buildings. But the community we helped create is still involved in other climate related action in the local area.

How did we get there?

We also ran a low-cost on-ground campaign, showing how much love there was for this tree in the community.
